MyBlindCo’s new dealer cost feature is a powerful tool for helping users see their actual dealer costs, enabling better retail pricing and more accurate in-home quotes. This feature provides an in-depth view of costs, including product prices and shipping, but requires setup and specific permission levels for access.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of granting access to this feature, entering dealer cost factors, and using the tool to create more informed quotes. Whether you’re using the portal or the iPad version, you’ll have all the information you need to maximize this feature’s potential.
Let’s get started!
How To See Dealer Cost In MyBlindCo
- To grant access to the dealer cost feature, admins must go to the User tab, select the employee or user, and turn on the feature, then save the changes.
- Users must also enter their actual dealer cost factors for each product on the RPM page, which will feed the cost feature and also allow for the entry of actual shipping costs.
- The dealer shipping cost can be different from the customer-facing shipping cost, and users can choose to mark up the shipping cost if desired.
- Once the setup is complete, users can see their dealer cost on quotes by clicking on the “Dealer View” link in the Advanced options, which is password protected for security.
The feature is available on both the browser version and the iPad version of MyBlindCo, and users can access it by going to the Advanced options and clicking on the “Dealer View” link.
The dealer cost view shows the difference between the actual cost and the retail cost, and users can use this information to gain more insight and close jobs.
