Option for a customized chain length

Recently priced a norman continuous look chain. due to window height, client needed longer chain than what was offered in MBC. Norman charged us a surcharge of $27/shade, which we didn't factor. Can there be an option in the line items for custom, where we can input into a quote the charge. thx
